Tanks are coated with enatech porcelain enamel coating, an improved formula for extended durability.
HORIZONTAL TANKS
Horizontal tanks are designed for use mainly in thermosyphonic principle. IN other words these tanks are used together with solar panels and are placed on the roof. They resist harsh outdoor conditions.
The tanks are designed in two major types. For warmer climates open loop (OL) tanks are preferred. In freeze prone areas close loop ( CL ) tanks are popular. Ouraset tanks are manufactured to have a access to the solar panels from the middle. This has several advantages. However custom made- products where access to the solar panels are provided from the sides are also present.
VERTICAL TANKS
Vertical tanks are utilized in force-circulated solar thermal tanks. This type is designed for placement inside the house. They come in two types: Single and double coil heat exchangers. Single coil tanks are used with solar panels only. They also include an electrical element for back-up. Double coil tanks also offer a second heat exchanger that can be connected to the gas or wood boiler as back-up. The electrical element serves as a third option for back up. |
